PSTET Exam Notification 2014 --Apply Online for Punjab State TET Exam


Department of School Education, Government of Punjab announces a notification
for conducting The Punjab State Eligibility Test ( PSTET ) - 2014  for Teachers
Class- I to VIII . The test will be conducted by State Council of Education
Research and Training, Punjab. Entrusted candidates may apply from
07 / 07 / 2014 from 10: 00 AM to 18 / 07 / 2014  by 5 : 00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification  =   For Classes I - V (Primary Stage)     =  Candidates
must posses Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or
appearing in final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent with
at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of  4 - year Bachelor of
Elementary Education (B.EI.ED)

For Classes VI - VIII (Elementary Stage)  = Candidates must posses Graduation
and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its
equivalent.
                                    OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.ED
(Bachelor in Education) or Graduation with at least 45% marks in  B.Ed , in
accordance with the NCTE Regulation issued from time to time this regard.

Examination Fee  = For General / BC / OBC Categories candidate  = Rs. 6000/-
for only Paper I or II, Rs = 1200 /- for Both Paper I and II .

For SC / ST / Differently Abled Categories Candidates = Rs. = 300 / -
for only Paper I or II , Rs. = 600/ - for Both Paper I and II.

For Ex-Servicemen self only  = not need to pay any fee.
Payment paid through challan by depositing fee in Axis Bank or can pay
through online by Debit/ credit card on or before 19 / 07 / 2014.

Selection Process = Selection of the candidates based on performance of written test.

How to Apply    =  All eligible candidates can apply online through the website =
www.tetpunjab.com from 07/07/2014 from 10:00 AM to 18/07/2014 by 5:00 pm
for the PSTET-I or PSTET-II or Both and send their printout copies of applications
must be dispatched in an envolpe of size 12 by 9 and paste address slip on the
envelope superscribing "APPLICATION FOR PSTET " at post box no.1828,
post office Sector 62, Mohali (Punjab) Pin 160062. through ordinary Post only.

 Starting Date for Apply online Registration   =   07/07/2014 from 10:AM

Last date for Apply online Registration          =   18/07/2014 by 5:00 PM

Payment of Examination fee                           =    07/07/2014 to 19/07/2014

Last Date for Receipt of Application            =     19/07/2014


Written Test held on PSTET-1 (MORNING),   PSTET-2 (EVENING)  =      10/8/2014
